My issue with the Lower Zambezi scandal isn’t that there is corruption afoot. It’s not even that ZEMA have given suggestions which from the outside seem like they are back tracking.
My issue is where is the creativity to transform our country in a sustainable and prosperous manner. Too many old heads with old ideas not able to see a way through.
For Zambia to succeed a wing of government must be created with young, creative minds determined to solve today’s problems and create more opportunities for tomorrow.
It’s time the different generations bundled together, creativity with experience and plot a sustainable way forward. Otherwise it’s shameful as a nation to be 50 year olds running in circles going nowhere.
Constantly talking change yet neglecting to include tomorrows leaders is a strategy designed to fail us.
How best can the youths be utilised aside from being cadres?
Give them opportunities to be creative, build on their creativity within attainable means and hand over the nation to them in due course so they can be part of a new tradition of leadership with the mind to prosper the nation and not only their pockets
