I have been writing a poetry book for a few weeks now and today while chatting with MetAi I realised I hadn’t really set any targets and was just writing till I felt the need to stop. Met challenged me to write 10-20 poems in 6 months which made me frown because that’s really not even a challenge. Met agreed with me and switched to 100 poems in 6 months which is definitely more of an interesting challenge.
I doubt it will take me 6 months from today to get a 100 new poems written and on theme. I have been sharing some poems that will be in my new book of poems I’m currently calling, “The Human Experience” (definitely open to better names but embodying this idea). I will also keep sharing a few from the new 100 as we delve deeper into the idea of being a human and feeling all our feels.
Feelings demand to be felt, feel them and free them. This is a poetic journey of feeling my feels, whatever those may be at the time and hopefully it will resonate with you and allow you to feel your feelings ever more truly in a way that brings healing to us all.
