We’ve chosen silence and secrecy,
A rift meandering through our families.
“Extra extra: Heartbreak in the Christian nation”
Read all about it!
Married pastors sleeping around,
With their wife at home,
Tucking the children in,
Tomorrow’s school.
Sibling rivalry, so it’s hushed,
But it’s true, the kids do get raised different.
Your child isn’t having a tantrum,
But now this situation’s blown out of proportion.
No sit-downs, no attempts at acknowledgement,
Just hushed tones.
Hushed tremors scare no one until it’s too late.
You can’t control an eruption.
But now I’m to blame for getting fed up
Of being a doormat?
You saw and kept silent.
Keep silent today too,
It’s too late.
Over a few pieces of paper,
We lost the family.

I’m really glad it was able to relate with you
We have to speak the truth, rather than hush it in secrecy or have it linger on our minds every waking day as we stay silent.
Totally love this, Shasho!
