Its been a wile since a Cypher excited me, more so right here at home in Zambia. King TMC put together this, his second Cypher following the successful exploits of its predessessor , King Chasm 1.0.
It was a perfect blend of differences brought together beautifully, each personality shown through I could picture the microphone exchanging hands in the booth as the proverbial torch was being passed.
I’m not one to stand on ceremony and tell you how to feel or react to bravado displayed in the studio, however it was a welcome breathe of fresh air.
I enjoyed the energy between the artists, and most importantly there was a bit of lyrical prowess where Malachi seems to jab at MC but it was really all completed by the inclusion of Destro at the end. I half hoped he would take a swing at the song for a longer time but it was a true thing of beauty to witness.
If I hear King Chasm 3.0 is on the way it will be with welcomed, and awaiting ears. If you happen to be a fan of HipHop I hope you get a chance to give this a listen hopefully you add your thoughts to the conversation.
